Autumn in the Air

Hello everyone!


Hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving! I went to Staten Island where my sister and brother-in-law hosted one of the best Thanksgiving holiday celebrations I have experienced in a long time.  The weather in NYC is mild, especially for this time of year, not complaining about that!

My Thanksgiving outfit was dressy, casual, and chic and I got to kiss a frog. Unfortunately he didn't turn into a prince lol but I am thankful for the amazing day with my family.

To breakdown my outfit:

P.S. I Love Me

Hey guys!

How was the weekend for everybody? My weekend was great just relaxed, saw Ides of March (great movie!) and caught up with an old friend.  I went to the Hells Kitchen Flea Market and got the most amazing deal on this coat: A perfect weekend with friend's and random summer weather! I love it as I get older the simple things in life make me smile. I love where I am in my life right now and looking forward to October 2011 and beyond.

I found this poem online, I wish there was an author behind it. But it pretty much sums up how I am feeling.

Love Yourself

Live in colours, love yourself
Rest on love look at shelf
Bees are humming, spiders spin
Shut your eyes, live in green
Ignore words what others say

Fur Sure: Kosi's Do It Yourself (DIY) Fall 2011 Project

Hello hello!

How was everyone's week? I was at the Coterie trade show with my job it was one of our best show ever! I've finally had the chance to switch my closet from summer to fall and I smiled looking at the outerwear. 


I am most excited for is a mink coat I got that was my late grandmother's:

My grandmother had great style this piece is no exception. I am planning on getting it altered to look similar to these styles. I goggled a few of the best fur pieces seen during February's NY Fashion week. 

As you all can see the coat is super long! I want to use the rest of the fur to make a vest like this:

I can't wait to show all of you pictures of the finished product(s). What DIY projects are all of you getting into for fall?

Joy Cioci Spring 2012

Hey Guys! 


One line that I am obsessed with this Fashion Week is Joy Cioci. Joy has been a friend of mine for years since we went to school in FIT.  This is her second time showing at Fashion Week Lincoln Center and the collection keeps getting better and better!


My favorites were the four below all different, feminine and modern. I wanted to place my order right then and there!

Frame of Mind

Hey guys!

How is everyone's week so far? I am enjoying the last few days of my vacation before going back to work. Excited for what is coming up: fashion night out, fashion week, the bloggers conference. Mom & I were doing some summer cleaning, and I came across these pictures.

I always described my style as tomboyish with a touch of femininity :) Nice to know it was true for my early years!
