Sorry for the lack of posts, the holiday season the past few days have been busy in the Harris household with parties back to back. I love my family! I am using my week off to relax (well forcing myself to)

Autumn in the Air

Hello everyone!


Hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving! I went to Staten Island where my sister and brother-in-law hosted one of the best Thanksgiving holiday celebrations I have experienced in a long time.  The weather in NYC is mild, especially for this time of year, not complaining about that!

My Thanksgiving outfit was dressy, casual, and chic and I got to kiss a frog. Unfortunately he didn't turn into a prince lol but I am thankful for the amazing day with my family.

To breakdown my outfit:

Boo Cool?

Hey guys


Hope everyone is having a happy and safe halloween. In NYC we were hit with winter weather, "Snowtober" as a few blogs were calling it. It didn't stop She Hulk from making her presence lol:

I got the dress at Comic Con a few weeks ago

So excited!!!

Only two more months and 2011 is history, started my to do list of things I wanted to do before the end of the year: volunteer at a soup kitchen, finally go on that flying trapeze class, the list goes on and on.

Indian Summer

Hello hello!!


How is the week so far? My week has been amazing: prepping for the Coterie trade show this weekend, market appointments, etc.

I haven't done an outfit post for a while now, the summerlike weather in NYC inspired me today :)

Qi Henley, Helmut Lang Skirt, Michael Kors Sandals, Foley & Corinna bag

I have been getting into wearing bright colors for Fall & beyond. It's always good to change it up, that's the beauty of putting together outfits.

Harris Duo!!

Hey guys


How did everyone spend their Hurricane weekend? Mines was good, I caught up on the September Issues, a few comic books and watched the original Star Wars trilogy (the prequels minus episode 3 put a sour taste in my mouth).


I did what everyone else did the Friday before the Hurricane and went out after work. I spent quality time with one of my dearest friend's which also happens to be my niece Akua. Yes, I have a niece who is more like a little sister to me (4 year age difference between us).  I thought I'd share an old school picture:

Akua and I went to the Brooklyn diner at Times Square if you go try try the following :

Fried House-Made Mozzarella balls-so so delish as you can tell from our happy faces :) 

Akua also has an amazing blog The Style Qween which caters to beauty, hair, fashion, and technology. A must read that you guys should follow! I am so proud of her!


After dinner and a few cocktails, we walked around Times Square. 

Sonic All Stars! Holla!

We went to the game section at Toys R' Us.  This brought back memories again from my childhood, I used to play Sonic the Hedgehog with my brother Nei.

Akua got me to try this new pink shade from Make Up Forever. I am trying to get into more color for Fall when it comes to make up.

Here is a full length picture of my outfit-I got the Tracy Reese dress at Beacon's closest 2 years ago it is my favorite summer staple! Also wearing an H & M jacket and a Marc Jacobs bag I got from ebay.
