Androgyny at Its Finest

Do you really need another T-shirt? Of course not. Still, options never hurt.

My friend Stef recently introduced me to EACH x OTHER, a Parisian unisex fashion brand that is part androgynous, part rock n roll with a sophisticated finish.  She had the opportunity to assist styling their Fall 2012 shoot (proud of you girl).

The tees have a relaxed boyfriend fit that I have been craving lately, a lot nowadays are either too fitted or too loose.  Tees from the collection are done by hand such as stone, deep-dye, and burn-out. I would live in each of these tees:

The design aesthetic for the collection is far different of what we see in the US where everything is so trend driven and commercial. It's very refreshing to see clothes with a real edge and wearability. Also they are just plain sexy!

In addition to their luxury tees, EACH x OTHER will also launch a limited edition series of artworks printed on silk scarfs, trench coats, denim and leather.

New collection favorite, I can't wait to see it in stores!

What does a chic Giants fan look like?

Hey guys!

Happy Tuesday! My weekend consisted of resting and celebrating the NY Giants victory! It was a close game and I wore my Giants Hat (thanks for the gift mom) for luck the whole time. I told a few friend's as the game was going on that I was going to wear my hat to the office on Monday.

Remember people I work in the garment district and where fur jackets rule the block.

I got a few looks from women in the elevator but I didn't give a sh*t! Isn't fashion supposed to express what you are feeling? At that moment I had team pride!

Here are a few pics:

Giants Hat given to me by mom, cropped sweater, American Apparel dress, Jeffery Campbell boots
I had a very hectic last week, I apologize for the lack of posts, I believe in quality not quantity. However, I am back ready to be a blogging ninja once more!

Did anyone else catch the game Sunday night? What do you wear to show off your sports pride, what do you do in general to show off your pride?

Victoria's Secret NFL Collection on sale! Holla!

Happy Sunday to you all!

NFL playoffs are here! I love lazy Sunday's like this where you can sip a cold beer, have brunch, then watch the game. I'm a Giant's fan + a fashionable tomboy 4 life :) Most of my family members are as well!

To celebrate, I wanted to let all my lovely readers know that Victoria's secret is doing a sale on their NFL collection. I went to one store earlier today and all Giants merchandise was sold out. LOL! It was funny seeing all the NY Jets jersey's and sweatpants left. I would recommend buying online, don't miss out!

I brought the following:
Orig. $32.50 Sale $19.50

Orig. $69.50 Sale $48.50

What team are you rooting for? How do you show off your team spirit?

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes: Anti-resolutions

Happy New Year!

It's 2012 everyone! Hope you all had an amazing holiday! I did, I am so grateful for the family and friend's in my life, I love them all!

Here is me playing with my Christmas/Kwanzaa gift my parents got me, the Iphone 4s baby!

I have been seeing a lot of new year's resolutions on facebook and twitter.  I have been anti-New Year's resolution.  They are broken so quickly and consistently that we make them without any expectation whatsoever that we’ll still be doing them come February.  I overheard a conversation on the bus a few days ago where a man basically told his friend his New Year’s Resolution was to exercise more, but he probably wouldn’t because “you know how New Year’s Resolutions are.”  So he literally told his resolution and that he also wouldn’t keep it in once sentence! Ha ha!  The mindset with which people approach their New Year’s Resolutions is all wrong.

I offer you all an alternative: Anti-resolutions: add something to your life.

Here are a few of mine:

  • Sleep more
  • Smile when I wake up
  • Get a mani/pedi once a week
  • Get a massage once a month
  • Wear more color (I tend to wear more grays and blues)
  • Get to work on time
  • Plan afterwork Martini Monday's and Karaoke Wednesdays
  • Attend more kick ass houseparties with my awesome friend's
  • More random Thursday & Friday night's
  • Commit random, spontaneous acts of kindness.
  • Make more vision/inspiration boards for my goals and personal style as shown below
  • Go to  regional comic cons! Ha!
    • Be thankful for what is
What are your anti-resolutions? Please share!

    xoxo
