I spent the past weekend running errands and visiting my comic book spot "Midtown Comics", which happens to be located blocks from times square so I walked and walked. I was bummed they didn't have the catwoman bobble head I wanted but it was great to visit!
I ended up entering Aeropostale where they have an area were one can see the view, my photographer told me it was actually MTV studios where they filmed TRL. Crazy!? My high school is blocks from Time Square, before senior year started me and my best friend Vicky had a chance to be audience members. I wasn't screaming loud enough for producers so a half our into it they moved me :( lol memories
Scarf: Qi, Coat: Searle
Bag: Marc Jacobs from Ebay. Best Ebay purchase from 3 years ago!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Wanted to get one post in as I watch the Giants Game (please let them win). Besides being bombarded with Black Friday/Cyber Monday emails, I got the chance to relax and spend time with friend's and family this weekend.
I loved it! As I get older the little things I value the most are not sales it's time:)
Relaxing before going to my sister India's house for Thanksgiving!
Everything was so delicious!
Mini Bar
Plan on getting this sometime in the next week, it is the Charlie Brown Xmas tree, the Christmas special is one of my all time favorites since I was a kid!

Ah the little things :) I also got found time to do a shoot for an upcoming outfit post, that will be up later this week!
Spent my weekend before the Thanksgiving Holiday catching up with friend's, shopping, and relaxing after a hectic week. The cold has finally hit NYC and it feels...well, nice. Not to mention, it's been awesome getting to bundle up again! I swear I woke up extremely excited to throw this vintage fur coat I scored at Loveday31 last year as I ran a few errands. I love a giant fur coat, and a colored jean, with a moto boot. I scored the jeans at Saks (had a coupon that expired Saturday) it was a great find! I'm bound to wear them all-year-round.
I recently purchased an awesome piece of art for my office wall that is very fitting for my love of comic books/sci-fi. The work is called Famous Robots by Daniel Nyari:
All my favorite robots, lol check out Bender from Futurama!
From top left across and down: T-800, Astro Boy, Vision, Bender, Brainiac, C3PO, Clank, Cyberman, Cylon, Awesome-O, Gort, Rosie, Alpha, Voltron, EVE, Maschinenmensch, Optimus Prime, Wall-E, Wheatley, Marvin the Paranoid Android, Miles Monroe, HAL 9000, Iron Giant, Robby the Robot, Pneuman, R2D2, Sentinel, Asimo, H8, Mega Man
The art print comes in a variety of sizes, I went with the mini size for my office wall:
The Famous Robots artwork also comes in a tote, two hoodies, and a tee.
I am planning on getting the zip hoodie, I am in need of a new one :)
The artwork I purchased is great for the home as well, have you recently purchased any interesting wall art? For more information please go to Society6/Daniel Nyari.
Market appointments, photoshoots, and last minute press pulls, leaves this PR ninja excited to change into something comfortable when she gets home. What's the routine when I get home you might ask? I take off whatever makeup I have on, and throw on the best Ebay purchase I got in a long time: Victoria's Secret Pink NY Giants Sweatpants paired with my beloved James Perse tee. Every woman should own this tee, it is beyond versatile!
A glass a wine, a good comic book is a great way to end the day!
You know when there are times when you need to take a step back? Well that was me the past few days. I know I've been missing in action the past few days on the blog, but I needed some time to myself. I got a pleasant surprise from my sister tonight, she knitted me a new hat which I plan to wear tomorrow to start the week off on a fabulous note. It was very random and sweet of her.
She explained that was inspired by by nephew's school where they are encouraging random acts of kindness. I plan to pass it on as well.
Thank you Tika!
I'm glad I got some much needed "me" time. Check out for 2 new posts this coming week for sure. Wishing everyone a great week!
I have been fortunate enough to take a few Friday's off for the past few weeks! I have been spending my time off catching up on my writing, friend's and exploring NYC. I went with a simple black on black outfit leather jacket by Muubaa, skirt by Express and the tee byThe Cast.Very tomboy, but still feminine due to it's slim fit.
I had to throw on myZaratiger heels to complete this look. I'm quite obsessed with the print at the moment! So darn cute I must say!
